This is where we'd like to record our next album
.Under the Wychwood were the group voted to come and be the guests in the “Four Strong Bands” event back in February. Matt, Rod, Mark & Lefty played a range of songs in their energetic style - “Don’t Mess Around With Jim”, the ever-popular Steve Knightley song “Cousin Jack”, an original or two and their belting version of Steve Earle’s “Copperhead Road”. –

What a fantastic band! Mark's original numbers are just as good as the famous songs they cover, and the whole group was enthusiastic, talented and entertaining. A real pleasure to spend an evening with them. –
Frances Maksinski, Manor Farm Music Frivolities
Under the Wychwood are a four piece band displaying the kind of verve that can fill a room with energy from the outset. A typical set list for the band could include self-penned numbers, cover versions of well-loved standards and contemporary items.
Just when you think you have pigeon-holed them, their next number makes you think again. If you want a band to raise the temperature and leave the audience buzzing, look no further than Under the Wychwood. –
Derrick Beer – White Horse Folk Club
Under the Wychwood were the main act at Kencot Village Day on Sat 20th August 2017. The band were prompt at arriving, efficient at setting, helpful and cheerful to deal with.
They were a perfect band for our event. Their choice of music was ideal, harmonious and upbeat and their whole performance was highly professional. We would certainly recommend them for similar events. -
